When I lose 50 lbs...

When I lose 50 lbs this dress will be mine.


The pretty one in the middle.  I have no desire to buy clothes until I am at my goal weight or my clothes are falling off my body because I have lost so many inches.  In the meantime I am looking at clothes that will look nice on me when I am fit and healthy and much, much smaller.

Walking has been going good.  Yesterday was a huge day of work and then going for a more than 5 mile hike after work.  Actually ran for a bit and really enjoyed it.  Although I then tripped and skinned my knee like a toddler.


June 25:  11,476 steps + kbells 15 mins

June 27:  22,851 steps + kbells 15 mins

Yogurt, honey & cinnamon with cherries
 Iced coffee 2 milk, no sugar

Flash Diet Day 9

Yogurt with Roger's porridge oats, blueberries, honey and cinnamon

 Red pepper slices (about half the container)
 Cabbage salad with black beans, corn, and a peanut satay dressing

 Leftovers with a couple boiled eggs.  Only ate 1 egg.
 Iced tea
Popcorn with butter and salt, about half the bowl
 Hot chocolate
Bourbon

 Cabbage Salad with tuna, black beans and corn
Iced coffee with cream and sugar
 Shared some fries
 Iced coffee with no sugar 1 cream

 Egg noodles with garlic cream sauce and peas, veggies

Still Walking


Last night we went out after 11pm to walk another 4000 steps.  That’s how many my pedometer said I needed to complete my 10,000 steps.  As tired as I was and as much as I wished I could just go to bed I couldn’t bring myself to give up.  That and having my “coach” support me on that midnight walk meant that my record remains unbroken.

June 21:  13,261 steps
June 22:  10,056 steps + kbells 15 mins
June 23:  10,448 steps
June 24:  10,751 steps

Also learned from my flash diet that one of my "domino foods" is candy.  One leads to another, then another, then another, and then I weigh 189 lbs.  Helps to know that I should avoid buying candy.
